Pathology is an excellent branch of Medicine which connects both clinical and nonclinical branches . The Department of Pathology is actively involved in Teaching and Training of undergraduate students of medicine, laboratory technician students, and district resident postgraduate students. The teaching includes comprehensive coverage of the subject through seminars ,Lectures, integrated teaching with other departments ,clinical society meetings and CMEs .
Services offered by Department of Pathology includes Surgical Pathology ,Clinical Pathology ,Cytopathology ,Molecular Pathology and diagnostics . Pathologist specialize in wide range of diseases including Cancer diagnosis
We also have a 24 hours facility of Clinical Pathology section in the Central Laboratory . The laboratory is managed by a team of experienced and committed pathologists, along with skilled technical and ancillary staff, working around the clock to provide precise and accurate results in the shortest possible turn around time. The pathology laboratory is integrated with Laboratory information management system(LIMS) to facilitate the immediate flow of results.

- To provide advanced teaching , learning facilities and to continuously update the knowledge in the field of Pathology.
- To provide finest quality of diagnostic facilities for the patients from nearby peripheral and taluk hospitals and primary health centres.
